ASB Bank Teams With Blind Foundation To Provide First Phone-Based Financial News For Members
A demonstration and launch of the first service that reconnects blind and visually impaired New Zealanders with financial and investment news takes place this Friday, October 22nd in Auckland.
The Royal New Zealand Foundation of the Blind (RNZFB) is launching the service, called ASB BankTalk, at a briefing of volunteers prior to Blind Week. Auckland blind and visually impaired RNZFB members who will benefit from this service will also attend the demonstration. These members are available for media interviews if requested.
ASB BankTalk makes the latest market information, news and financial reports available on the RNZFB Telephone Information Service (TIS), a popular service for the blind community which helps them stay informed, enhancing their independence.
