Australian Stamp of Approval for Harcourts

29 September 2004

Official Australian Stamp of Approval for Harcourts Training
The specialist training division of Australasia’s fastest growing real estate group, Harcourts, has just passed the rigorous Australian Training and Employment Recognition Council assessment process to be accredited as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in Queensland.

The Harcourts Academy can now award Statements of Attainment in Queensland (recognised Australian-wide) in select training units towards a real estate consultant’s compulsory qualification of registration.

Managing Director of Harcourts International Ltd, Mike Green said, “This is another significant step towards being recognised as the number 1 real estate group in Australasia. We have put a lot of resources into The Harcourts Academy as part of our commitment to industry excellence and providing the most competent and highly trained professionals for the public.”

Training Development Manager for Harcourts Academy, Irene Green, said “We have long held a reputation for providing outstanding training within the industry and it seemed a natural progression to officially meet the Australian Quality Training Framework Standards for RTOs. We are now in an even stronger position to raise industry standards and provide our consultants with the ongoing professional development required to remain current within industry requirements.”

Head of Harcourts Academy, Gilbert Enoka said rather than resting on their laurels, The Harcourts Academy was rigorously pursuing options in New Zealand to achieve government accreditation as a Private Training Establishment (PTE) as well as RTO status in other Australian States. “We are committed to providing access to ongoing professional development in order to raise industry standards and help our people to follow a proven career path to personal success.”
