Customers ‘Get All’ with ihug’s New Dial-up Internet
and Toll Call Package
ihug, New Zealand’s original internet pioneer, fired yet another round in the battle to keep Kiwis connected by cutting
charges for their ‘Get All’ package aimed at the everyday user, with high speed dial-up internet and big savings on toll
calls. The flat rate dial up internet with the ‘Get All’ package is priced at $19.95 per month and is available from 1
October 2004.
The ‘Get All’ package comes with free dial-up accelerator which makes web surfing up to five times faster than normal
dial up. It also includes free spam and virus email filtering, five free email addresses, no restrictions on payment
methods, and 10MB of space to build your own website – all backed by ihug’s 24 hour professional, friendly customer
service.
“Most New Zealander’s want faster internet to improve their online experience but often paying extra for speed is just
not a viable option. We wanted to deliver a better value deal to web users that surf for fun, and use the phone to keep
in touch with friends and family”, said ihug's General Manager, Guy Nelson. “We believe the new ihug ‘Get All’ package
has the best value dial up internet in the New Zealand market today.”
Additionally, ‘Get All’ customers will enjoy huge savings on their toll calls with ihug’s new direct dial toll rates.
Refer to the table below for direct dial toll rates.
“We estimate that a household switching to the ‘Get All’ package could easily save $20 a month or more off their Telecom
bill, all with the confidence of a reliable, proven network”, said Nelson. “That’s a lot of ‘cups of coffee’ you could
buy with the savings you make.”
