New Appointment Release

Bruce Meagher, Iain Jamieson and Caroline Pitt join VISA International.

VISA International is pleased to announce the appointment of three new staff members to further strengthen its commitment to New Zealand.

Bruce Meagher has been appointed Director of Corporate Communications for Australia and New Zealand. Bruce has strong communications experience and owned a consulting practice providing public policy advice to government and private sector clients. A lawyer, Bruce was previously involved in the amalgamation of Saturn and Telstra New Zealand and also represented Telecom New Zealand.

Following a notable career with VISA International, Iain Jamieson has been appointed Country Manager, New Zealand. Iain was Vice President of Business Development in the Middle East, where he was responsible for all VISA business activities in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Oman and Qatar. Prior to this Iain was General Manager of the Saudi Arabian office. During Iain's time in this role business grew by over 70%.

Following extensive agency based advertising experience, Caroline Pitt has been appointed New Zealand Marketing Manager. This role has been created to further develop VISA's marketing presence in New Zealand. Caroline has joined VISA from Ogilvy & Mather where she worked on Unilever. Previous experience includes account management of Singapore Airlines, Singapore Tourism Board and UKTV at New South Wales based advertising agency, Batey Kazoo. Caroline also spent over four years working on the McDonald's account at DDB.
