Polaris Way Out Rides for ATV owners
Polaris Way Out Rides for ATV owners
Owners of ATVs can go on organised trail rides without bothering about two-wheelers, under a new initiaitive by Polaris.
The Way Out Rides, starting next month, cater just for the four-wheelers with all-day back-country outings for the whole family, with a charity benefit.
The first ride is on Saturday 9 October at Dargaville, where Polaris dealer Shayn Rouse says the accent is on enjoyment.
“We’ve found in the past that ATVs and two-wheelers don’t go well together on rides,” he commented. “The ATV people say it takes the fun out of it, as the machines are ridden differently and tend to tackle different terrain.
“The Way Out Rides are tailored by Polaris, who understand recreational ATV riding very well.
“The rides are for weekend recreational riders, farmers … anyone who enjoys getting out on their ATV. They need a helmet and boots, plus their ATV.
“We have separate classes for ladies and children, and more challenging riding for those who like that.”
The Polaris Way Out Ride at Dargaville starts from Baylys Beach Holiday Park with sign-on from 9am.
