Harveys Real Estate Appoints South Island Regional Manager
Harveys Real Estate has appointed Mr Lindsay Dodd as its first South Island regional manager based in Christchurch.
The newly created role follows Harveys recent announcement that it intends to take its 50 plus branch network into the South Island. Harvey’s chief executive, Ross Hunter says Dodd’s appointment is the first step towards fulfilling this strategic objective.
Dodd has 18 years real estate experience across Australasia and was most recently a full-time auctioneer with LJ Hooker Auction Services.
His new role entails developing the South Island market for Harveys and assisting with sales training and induction programmes for the real estate group.
Dodd says he is excited about joining Harveys which he describes as a ‘caring and challenging’ company. “Although I have just joined, I am impressed by the strength of the group, its people and the direction they are both going in. The company has a very caring culture which is refreshing in the sense they encourage and support both clients and staff.”
