During investigation of a serious consumer complaint, it was found that an isolated incident occurred during production of the cereal which resulted in small pieces of thin wire mixing with the product. As a result of this incident, Kellogg is fully reviewing manufacturing and operating procedures and will take whatever action is necessary to ensure that this does not happen again.
