Dairy Farming Scholarship Applications Open

Applications for the Dairy InSight Nuffield Scholarship, New Zealand’s most prestigious dairy farming award, are now open.

New Zealand Nuffield Farming Scholarships promote leadership and the implementation of innovative practices in agriculture through worldwide study and interpersonal contact. The scholarships give the opportunity to develop a better understanding of New Zealand and international relationships by studying farming, agricultural marketing or agricultural organisational practices.

Dairy InSight funding has allowed the trust to offer a scholarship specifically for dairy farmers. The successful Dairy InSight Nuffield Scholar has the opportunity to travel overseas to study the latest agricultural developments, returning with new knowledge and contacts to benefit them personally, their business and the wider dairying community.

Scholarships are for approximately six months and include two weeks in Asia, and six weeks in Europe or North America depending upon the scholarship offered. Study in other regions will also be considered. Dairy InSight Nuffield Scholarship applicants must demonstrate an ability and desire to participate in leadership in agriculture and the wider rural community.
