Singapore Airlines Offer 400 Entertainment Options
SINGAPORE AIRLINES TO OFFER 400 ENTERTAINMENT OPTIONS
Starting this month, Singapore Airlines’ (SIA) award-winning in-flight entertainment system, KrisWorld, gets even bigger and better with double the movie and CD selections, the latest television programmes and exclusive games. With these new entertainment options, customers will have over 400 entertainment choices.
Video: 60 blockbuster movies and over 90 TV hits
Movie buffs will be spoilt for choice with a selection of 60 international blockbuster movies. For the month of June, passengers can pick from the Oscar-winning trilogy Lord of the Rings, comedies Starsky and Hutch and 50 First Dates, Hong Kong cinematic gem Infernal Affairs III, and Italian favourite La Finestra Di Fronte.
Fans of sitcoms like Friends and Everybody Loves Raymond can catch some of the most popular episodes, along with over 90 other TV hit programmes like CSI, The West Wing and Alias.
Audio: 196 CDs and 12 audio channels
Music fans can pick from twice as many CDs, with a dazzling selection of 200 titles ranging from the latest chart toppers and jazz favourites to world music and J-Pop. KrisWorld will also feature a new category of audio CDs called Audio Books, with two of the most well loved classics of all time, Charles Dickens’ A Tale of Two Cities and Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice among the selections for June.
Games: 33 Nintendo®, 20 PC and 3 multi-player games
Game enthusiasts will have 33 Nintendo® games ranging from Pokemon to the Super Mario Brothers. Those geared more towards PC games can test their wits at Reversi or French Solitaire.
This extensive selection of 400 entertainment options is available on all SIA aircraft installed with the Matsushita 3000 system that enables passengers to pause, fast forward or rewind a video or audio programme at any time. The Matsushita 3000 system is available on most B747-400 and B777 aircraft, and all A340-500s, SIA’s new ultra long-range aircraft.
