Stage Two of Popular Queenstown Heritage Villas
Stage Two of Popular Queenstown Heritage Villas Released to Keen Buyer Anticipation For Release:
30 April 2004
The sold out Stage One of Queenstown’s 20 Heritage Villas has already exceeded its new owners’ expectations, with keen anticipation building for the release of Stage Two, according to Harcourts Queenstown Sales Consultant, Warwick Osborne, who is marketing the luxury development.
Situated adjacent to the Heritage Hotel with panoramic views of the lake and mountains, the Villa project is being managed by the Hotels group. Mr Osborne, said, “Heritage Hotels brings tremendous credibility to the Villas from a performance, occupancy, yield, good returns and brand perspective. The owners of the first stage are enjoying good returns as well as a good level of capital gain.”
Mr Osborne said he was receiving ongoing buyer interest from throughout the world and said, “We have sold them to a ‘United Nations’ of buyers.” He added that with Queenstown increasingly recognised as a “global resort”, his marketing programme for the next stage continued to target overseas buyers.
He added that Queenstown property had “enjoyed large growth over the last couple of years driven largely by its growing status as a global resort and being driven by the global real estate market”.
Described by Mr Osborne as “Queenstown’s first true lifestyle resort”, the Heritage Villas are bordered by reserve and include a swimming pool, tennis courts, health spa, gym and sauna and all the amenities of the Heritage Queenstown.
Mr Osborne described the Villas as ideal for overnight and long stay use and a number of buyers had purchased them for 2-3 month retreats, leaving the hotel to manage their Villa the balance of the year.
