New Management Structure at Fairfax Magazines
Fairfax Magazines has implemented a new management structure following a review of the business.
Managers have been appointed to head up three sectors of the business and will report directly to Fairfax New Zealand chief executive officer, Brian Evans.
Amanda Murphy has been appointed to the new role of general manager Lifestyle Titles which includes award winning publications such as Cuisine magazine, NZ House & Garden, TV Guide and onHoliday. Amanda was previously group general manager – sales at Fairfax Magazines and prior to that was general manager Automotive and Lifestyle at ACP.
Tim Porter continues as Specialist Titles manager responsible for Boating NZ, NZ Fishing, Fish & Game, Growing Today, Truck and Machinery Trader, Horse and Pony and Trucking NZ.
Grant Gallagher heads up Contract Publishing and Creative Services that contract publishes AA Directions, Sky Watch and the Warriors Magazine among others.

Zealand, said the new structure reflects the three business
streams of Fairfax Magazines and the need to have people in
dedicated roles to successfully manage the growth and
development of the some of the country’s most popular
titles. “Fairfax Magazines is a very important part of
the Fairfax New Zealand business and we believe this new
structure will provide the right environment for the
business to continue to thrive.”
