Axios Systems Launch Innovative Web Based User Interface for Core Solution

March 18

Axios Systems, the leading global Help Desk & IT Service Management vendor, has announced the launch of its innovative new web based user interface for its core solution, assyst.

Initially aimed at mobile IT Support users, the assyst web interface will offer an anytime-anyplace-anywhere solution for the mobile IT workforce and will be showcased at the Helpdesk and IT Support Show in London, UK in April this year.

Tasos Symeonides, CEO of Axios Systems, said "The launch of the new web based user interface for assyst is an exciting time in the evolution of our solution" He continued; "Harnessing the power of assyst through a web based delivery medium will help propel our customers into a new era of IT Support."

assyst is a Help Desk & IT Service Management solution supporting all IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) disciplines in a single consolidated out-of-the- box product. Placed at the hub of IT operations, assyst brings an unprecedented level cohesiveness to IT Service Management.

The drive towards web-based Consolidated Service Desk (CSD) solutions is gathering pace. According to John Inverso, Analyst at Industry Analyst group Gartner, "One of the most recent advances in help desk software is the expansion of its functionality into intranets and the Internet." Inverso states, "Some products even go as far as reproducing the user's help desk interface on the Web browser, making it look exactly as it does on his or her desktop. This allows for a more mobile IT support staff with ready access to the CSD."
