Funds donated to Feilding and District Relief Trust Account reaches $100,000

Over $83,000 has so far been donated by the public to the Feilding and District Relief Trust Account at Bank of New Zealand branches throughout the country.

The total amount raised since the account began is now over $108,000.

Over $17,000 was donated today alone.

The funds raised will be placed in a trust account and distributed by a committee set up by the Manawatu District Council.

Bank of New Zealand contributed $25,000 to the trust.
