Origin Launches Same Day AirFreight
Origin Pacific Airways announced today that effective immediately it would offer businesses and the general public a same day, airport terminal to airport terminal parcel freight service.
This service is targeted at small to medium sized enterprises who require same day urgent delivery of documents or items 32 kilograms or less. Pricing starts from $45 for the first 2 kilograms and $5.63 for each kilogram thereafter.
Robert Inglis - Managing Director of Origin said "this improved service is in line with Origin's long term strategy of providing a broad range of services to new and existing clients. We have seen the demand for same day and overnight delivery climb steadily in the last year and our decision to add the ATR aircraft on the Auckland/Wellington route will add considerable freight capacity linking to our existing schedule of around135 flights every weekday throughout New Zealand".
Wayne Christie - Origin AirFreight's National Operations Manager said "It's all about timing and the acceptance of small parcel freight at all Origin Airport counters will further enhance Origin's existing freight services. It's just one more way we can help."
