2003 Nuffield Farming Scholarship Winner

The 2003 Nuffield Farming Scholarship winner is Andrew Watters of Palmerston North.

Andrew Watters is a dairy farmer, and partner in Agricultural Investments Ltd. Mr Watters will investigate "Innovation Management".

Mr Watters is interested in the management processes to promote innovation as the engine driving faster growth for our farms, our primary industry and NZ business. He plans to travel to Europe, the UK and North America.

Outstanding farmers are awarded scholarships to allow them to study agricultural subjects of their choice internationally, following an initial program in South East Asia, the United Kingdom, and Europe.

This year the scholarships are sponsored by: Federated Farmers of New Zealand (Inc), Meat New Zealand, Dairy InSight, Mackenzie Charitable Foundation, and New Zealand Nuffield Farming Past Scholars.
