New Zealand’s leading business organisation, the New Zealand Business Roundtable, has formally invited Mike Green, Managing Director of Harcourts International Ltd to become a member.
Mr Green said it was an honour to accept the invitation to join such a prestigious organisation. The New Zealand Business Roundtable is made up of 50-60 mainly chief executives, managing directors and chairpersons of large New Zealand enterprises, including Sir Gil Simpson (Jade Software), Barry Coleman (National Business Review), and Dr Roderick Deane (Telecom), among others.
All are actively involved in the day to day operation and direction of the resources of their business as well as taking a wider view of the issues confronting the New Zealand economy. Mr Green said that being able to contribute to a group committed to promoting a successful dynamic economy provided a rare and special opportunity to assist the greater business community throughout the country.
Roger Kerr, executive director of the New Zealand Business Roundtable, warmly welcomed Mr Green to the organisation. “The Business Roundtable has an ambitious vision for our country.”

Formerly an owner of Mike Green Real Estate Ltd (Auckland), Mr Green has over 20 years of real estate industry experience. During ownership of the Auckland franchise, he built his business up to nine offices and over 130 people, achieving No 1 Harcourts Franchise for New Zealand for four consecutive years.
Mr
Green joined the Harcourts corporate team in 1997 moving to
Queensland, Australia to establish and grow Harcourts'
Australian arm. Taking over as Managing Director of the
entire Harcourts group in December 1999, Mr Green is now
responsible for the overall operation and direction of
Harcourts throughout Australasia, and along with General
Manager Paul Wright, owns Harcourts International
Ltd.
