Skycity Announces Share Split And New Director At Annual Meeting

NZX and ASX-listed gaming and entertainment company SKYCITY Entertainment Group Limited (SKC) today announced it will split each of its existing ordinary shares into two ordinary shares.

Addressing shareholders at the company’s annual meeting, held this afternoon in Hamilton, chairman Jon Hartley said that given the strong price performance of SKYCITY’s shares since the 2001 split, the directors had resolved to again split each existing share into two shares.

Mr Hartley also advised the meeting that it was the board’s intention to invite Sir Dryden Spring to join the board of the company.

Shares on the SKYCITY share register as at 5pm on Friday 14th November 2003 will be subdivided.
