Skycity Entertainment Group – Annual Meeting Tomorrow In Hamilton

Please be advised that SKYCITY Entertainment Group Limited will hold its 2003 Annual Meeting of shareholders tomorrow afternoon (Thursday 30th October) at the company’s newest property*, SKYCITY Hamilton - Alma Street, Hamilton.

This is the first time that SKYCITY has held its annual meeting outside Auckland. SKYCITY Auckland’s current extension of main gaming floor facilities and construction of the new SKYCITY Auckland Convention Centre, mean that the former SKYCITY Auckland conference facilities are unavailable for this year’s annual meeting. Tomorrow’s annual meeting will be held in the currently unutilised area beneath the SKYCITY Hamilton complex, which the company announced in August 2003 will be fitted out as function and conference facilities, scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2004. Chairman Jon Hartley and Managing Director Evan Davies will address the meeting, scheduled to begin at 4pm (NZ time).

An audio webcast of the meeting, and a copy of the presentation, will be available on SKYCITY’s website www.skycitygroup.co.nz from 8pm (NZ time) on October 30th.
