Need A Helping Hand?

Applications are now being sought for the 2003/2004 Farmers Helping Hand programme.

If your registered charity or other not-for-profit organisation wishes to be considered as a recipient, please collect an official application form from your local Farmers store or visit the Farmers website on www.farmers.co.nz.

Established in 1995, Farmers popular Helping Hand programme has distributed in excess of $1.5 million to worthy causes around New Zealand.

The Helping Hand programme works quite simply with Farmers 76 stores individually choosing a local charity to support for the next 12 months.

All manner of charities have been chosen over the years including local branches of national or international organisations such as Red Cross, Plunket, The Salvation Army and the SPCA to specific community-based organisations including rescue services and hospices.

Applications for Farmers Helping Hand programme close on 1 August 2003 . Successful charities will be notified in late August and fundraising on their behalf will occur from August 2003 through to July 2004.
