Certus Consulting Boosts Sales Capability with Appointment of Steve Barnard to Account Director
AUCKLAND, 12 May 2003 – Certus Consulting, an IBM Premier Partner for Software, and leading IT consulting and implementation company, today announced the appointment of Steve Barnard to the new role of Account Director. Mr Barnard will be responsible for new business generation in the Wellington region as well as building and managing the sales department. Mr Barnard has more than 16 years experience in senior account and sales management roles within the IT industry in Wellington.
According to Penny White, General Manager (Wellington) of Certus Consulting, the appointment of Mr Barnard is a further sign of the company’s continuing growth. “Certus Consulting continues to grow despite the relatively flat market. Consequently we need to carefully manage our service delivery with the appointment of experienced specialists. Mr Barnard’s appointment strengthens our ability to deliver IBM software solutions such as WebSphere to the market,” she said.
“Certus Consulting employs quality people with solid
relationship management skills,” said Mr Barnard. “I look
forward to working alongside many of these people and relish
the challenge of further developing the company’s customer
base.”
