Companies invited to pick up phone
Heather Staley Chief Executive of the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) has called on companies concerned about the impact of high power prices on their business to take proactive action by ringing EECA for help.
"We are offering to help large industrial electricity users implement a successful energy management programme through our new business service Emprove. We look forward to some of the companies who have been in the media recently contacting us so we can help them reduce their exposure to electricity costs.
"Emprove is based on market research with large energy users. It has been designed to help businesses shave significant dollars off their operating costs and to increase their profits. It's all about the bottom line, pure and simple.
"With the current electricity situation and the prospect of energy savings of up to 30% using the Emprove energy management programme, it is responsible business practice to investigate this opportunity," Ms Staley said.
