"Thrive Auckland combines the factors fundamental to all business success: motivation, business confidence, getting the basics right, and enjoying the excitement of being in business.
"Our presenters are all highly successful people presenting their own success stories. They'll also cover off the building blocks basic to business such as developing and implementing your business plan, and managing your tax and other obligations.
"As well as those above, our other top profile presenters are:
* Exporter of the Year, Navman's Peter Maire on expanding by exporting,
* Saatchi & Saatchi's CEO Ian Christie: How to maximise your returns from advertising,
* Ernst & Young's Darren White and Kevin Jones on tax, and
* Bartercard's Denis Orme on making your business plan work for you.
"Thrive will be chaired by TV's Susan Wood with Auckland Mayor John Banks waxing lyrical on what a great place Auckland is to be in business.
"Attached to Thrive Auckland will be a major Expo.
"Gauging from numbers
registered to date, about 1500 growth driven business people
will be attending."
