an application with the Commerce Commission yesterday
seeking authorisation for joint marketing of gas from the
Pohokura field. Appraisal and development of the Pohokura
field is proceeding as a joint venture activity of Shell,
Preussag Energie and Todd Energy. Joint marketing of gas is
considered a necessary step in the early development of the
Pohokura
field."
