Cadmus Appoints New Director
Cadmus Technology Limited (NZSE: CTL) today advised that Phillip Joe has been appointed as a director of the Company.
He was appointed to the Cadmus Board as an independent director candidate subsequent to the Company’s placement of shares to the JBWere Fund. Last month the Fund agreed to subscribe for an initial 8.85 percent shareholding in the Company, with potential to increase this to 13.8 percent shareholding via a put and call option arrangement and Cadmus agreed to the appointment of an independent director to its Board.
“Phillip has a strong investment banking and management credentials, with operational experience in US, Asia, Australia and New Zealand,” says Cadmus Managing Director, Ian Bailey. “His background in corporate governance, growing businesses and Asian business experience will complement the skills of the current Cadmus Board.
“Phillip will be able to provide our Company with valuable independent counsel and also assist us as we expand domestically and move into new high growth international markets.”
In the last two decades Phillip has worked closely with private equity investors and major public companies, and held the position of director in a number of companies which he has co-established, operating in the corporate advisory services, property investment, new ventures and banking industries.
Phillip has a Master of Business Studies (Hons) and post-graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Massey University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.
