Windflow Turbine Prototype Rolls Out
Shareholders of the Christchurch-based wind-turbine developer, Windflow Technology, will have plenty to consider at the Company¹s Annual General Meeting on 21st November. At the meeting, the Directors will announce their plans for completing the first prototype wind turbine in the wake of delays in the Resource Consent process.
Looking to the second stage of the Company¹s development, shareholders will be asked to ³support the Directors¹ intention to fund the commercialisation of the Windflow 500 [wind turbine] with a renounceable rights issue pro rata to all shareholders.²
Prior to the Annual General Meeting, shareholders will have the opportunity to view progress on assembly of the nacelle (the pallet and housing that sits on top of the wind turbine¹s tower and contains the gearbox, generator and other machinery).
