Naked Chef Is Recipe For
Awards Success
The FCB campaign for Foodstuff’s house-brand “Pam’s” won the Grand EFFIE® Award for Best in Show at the first New Zealand EFFIE Awards gala in Auckland tonight.
Using celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, the campaign also picked up a Gold EFFIE in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods category. Judges commented on the magnitude of the task and the outstanding results achieved by the extensive multi-faceted campaign.
The GeneratorBates campaign for Wendy’s won the Sustained Success Award, which is also a Grand EFFIE category. Judges said that this was a great example of understanding of the brand and it’s key drivers, and had clearly demonstrated cut-through against higher-spending competitors.
Johnathan Symons, General Manager of Marketing for ASB Bank was named “Marketing Professional of the Year” at the Awards.
EFFIE Awards are held 19 countries on five continents, and represent the pinnacle in advertising effectiveness. They are recognised by advertisers and agencies as the pre-eminent award in the advertising industry – the world standard in measuring the success of an advertising campaign.
CAANZ holds the EFFIE franchise for New Zealand and the major sponsor of the event is Television New Zealand.
EFFIE award winners and case studies will be online from Friday 30 August on www.effie.co.nz
