Sovereign Back To Sponsor Gaye Bartlett At NZ Fashion Week

Sovereign is one of the first organisations to officially announce it will be back to sponsor one of the premier designers in L’Oreal New Zealand Fashion Week, Gaye Bartlett, for the second consecutive year.

The latest stylish offerings from Gaye Bartlett will be shown at the first official show of NZ Fashion Week at an extravaganza breakfast at Auckland’s Town Hall on 22nd October.

Lisa Dowling, Sponsorship Manager, Sovereign, says the decision to sponsor the collection again was a given, following the success of last year’s partnership.

“We originally sponsored Gaye’s collection as a trial, however the fit and the feedback last year was so good we were quick to put our hands up to support her again. The audience attracted to Gaye’s collection, and to Fashion Week as a whole is representative of our own market. They are definers of trends, rather than followers, and investors in timeless, quality products.”

Gaye Bartlett says Sovereign was the first and only company she contacted last year to seek their help at the first ever NZ Fashion Week. Says Gaye, “I wanted to team up with a New Zealand company with similar values of quality and investment and I believe Sovereign is a great match for us.”

Gaye says that Sovereign’s sponsorship provides her with the ability to participate in Fashion Week at the standard she requires. “There is considerable cost involved including models, lighting, sound and promotional material so Sovereign’s support has been invaluable. We’re grateful for their renewed commitment to making 2002’s showing our most successful yet.”

Gaye Bartlett’s latest collection will be revealed on 22nd October and will reflect her preference for timeless and stylish investment dressing.
