Shell Reduces Fuel Prices By 2 Cents Per Litre

Shell New Zealand today announced it was reducing the price of both grades of petrol and diesel by 2 cents per litre, immediately.

"This price reduction may lead to a reduction at the pump of up to two cents per litre in many parts of New Zealand. However in some areas of the North Island, where intense competition has already seen prices fall, motorists may not see any adjustment at their local Shell outlet," Shell's Retail Manager Bruce Emson said.

"This price reduction continues Shell's commitment to bringing New Zealanders the lowest possible fuel prices."

Mr Emson said the international oil price and movements in the New Zealand dollar, both of which influence the price of fuel in New Zealand, have steadied after recent fluctuations, enabling Shell to bring its customers the best possible fuel prices.
