The year 2001 proved to be a year of tremendous change. September 11th, mergers, acquisitions, corporate bankruptcy, e-commerce, knowledge management, the new economy, GENERATION X's and Y's, NASDAQ . . . what in the world is going on? Where are we going? How will this impact?

Answers will be given at the New Zealand Property Institutes 2002 Conference being held in Rotorua on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 May 2002 by keynote speaker Paul Doherty of Memphis, Tennessee, USA.

Paul will give perspectives from first hand accounts and lessons learned from Ground Zero in New York City to what is shaping our collective mindsets; the driving forces that influence our decision-making; the changing business environment in today's volatile global economy and how this can have an impact on property professionals and organizations.

Paul is one of several international key note speakers at the conference which has the theme "The New Sandpit". Over 300 people attended the Institute's first very successful conference last year.
