There was heavy trading on the New Zealand Futures & Options Exchange today involving 6217 futures contracts traded with a face value of NZ$3.10 billion.
The Mar-02 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 4 points at 9493 (5.07%) and the June-02 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 7 points at 9451 (5.49%). The Sept-02 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 11 points at 9414 (5.86%) and the Dec-02 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled down 14 points at 9380 (6.20%).
The Mar-02 Three Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled down 12 points at 9373 (6.27%) and the Mar-02 Ten Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled down 15 points at 9321 (6.79%).
The Mar-02 NZSE-10 Share Index Futures Contract settled down 6 points at 930.
