Calling All Marketing “Young Stars”

Published: Thu 21 Feb 2002 09:37 AM
The Direct Marketing Association (DMA) is proud to announce a new initiative for 2002, for “up and coming” marketers.
The event is a Networking event, strictly limited to those juniors who want to “go somewhere” in marketing, these are the Marketing Managers, and Executives of the future.
The DMA realise that this is an important part of the industry, but one that is seldom recognised and even appreciated. “A group of people was recognised that we were not targeting, so we have aimed an event specific for these people”.
The event is to encourage those in Marketing to get to the top, to meet their peers who they may meet later on, along the way on their career paths, and to talk to people who are in a similar situation to themselves.
The event will be held in Auckland to start, on Friday 8th March 2002, from 5-7pm, at the Dispensary Bar (Cnr Victoria and Hobson St)), Auckland City. Morton Estate Wines have kindly offered to sponsor the event, realising how important this area of the industry is for the future.
