DMA Announces Year 2002 Calendar

The Direct Marketing Association announced today their 2002 Events Calendar.

With over 75 events, ranging from Call Centre Breakfasts, Branch Luncheons, Seminars, eMarketing Breakfasts, and Member-only Networking events, as well as its annual flagship events, the New Zealand Direct Marketing Awards and the Marketing Today Conference and Expo, the DMA’s calendar is looking extremely full.

This ensures anyone involved in Marketing, specifically Direct Marketing will be guaranteed to find something that strikes interest and relevance for their organisation.

The new initiatives for 2002, include “Brainy Breakfasts” – for eMarketers, the Executive Breakfast Series, to be held in both Auckland and Wellington, and a Networking Function for “ Young Stars” with less than three years industry experience.

These new events compliment the DMA’s “tried and true” programme of by-monthly Branch Luncheons and Contact Centre Breakfasts, and National Events such as Forums and International Seminars, the first of which will be held in February.

With the success of the recent Smart Marketing seminars for SMEs, three more similar events are planned for the 2002 year, starting in March with full day programmes in Christchurch and Wellington. SME Seminars will be held in June in conjunction with the Marketing Today Conference and Expo, and again in November.

The DMA is organising a Black Tie Gala Dinner in June for Marketing Today’s International Speakers, Conference attendees and New Zealand’s leading marketers to celebrate advancements in marketing today.
