Shell says “Thanks” with a special holiday weekend deal

Shell New Zealand is slashing the price of both grades of petrol and diesel by 10 cents per litre from Midnight Friday to Midnight Saturday to allow customers to fill up with cheap fuel for the long weekend.

Shell New Zealand retail manager Bruce Emson said Shell wanted to thank its customers for their continued loyalty in the most practical way possible – with cheaper fuel.

“We value the loyalty of our customers, and it is great to be able to once again offer this price reduction as a way of saying thanks”, Mr Emson said.

This is the 18th time since December that Shell has either lead prices down, or initiated one-off price reductions, such as the one currently being offered.

“Shell is now leading the market in fuel sales, as a consequence of support from the motoring public. Motorists can expect more innovative deals from Shell in the future, as we strive to give New Zealand motorists the best fuel prices we can,” Mr Emson said.
