Espy Magazine Launches - Presenting New Zealand And Australian Business Innovation To International Markets
Take notice (ESPY)... Innovative Business Thinkers Magazine that meets Style, Launches in New Zealand and Australia
AUCKLAND, October 1 2001 - What's on the mind of business innovators? This is uncovered in Espy, a bi monthly magazine that recognizes the new form of entrepreneur, one who works hard and plays hard with style. Espy Magazine was launched today in the New Zealand and Australian markets by Espy Network Limited.
The publication delves beyond new economy knowledge. It hones in on different global business practices and opportunities, profiles local and international innovators - their challenges, setbacks, successes and insight into how they live life, technology developments plus style and grooming, travel, health, food and entertainment.
"Unlike present business magazines on the market, we recognise the new breed of entrepreneur, between 25 - 39," says publisher Tim Lawrence. "They believe in a balance in work and play and that entrepreneurship and style is more than a state of mind it's a way of life. They dismiss the notion of the 'tall poppy syndrome' and are not necessarily the senior managers within organizations, but those who may be on the verge of innovation.
"The talented group of style and art directors, design and web developers on the magazine will also see Espy at the forefront visually for a business publication."
Espy will inform the global reader, with a New Zealand and Australian focus, and plans to expand into further international markets in 2002.
Originally launched in April 2000 as a free consumer lifestyle publication, Espy grew fast in popularity. "Over the last 18 months our readers have come to make more decisions in the business space and this was the motivation to launching the Espy as a business/lifestyle publication," adds Lawrence.
Espy Magazine is on stands from Monday October 1, in major city centers throughout New Zealand and Australia.
