Shell Leads Price Reduction Following Oil Price Decline
Shell New Zealand today lead a price decrease on fuel with the price of petrol falling 6 cents a litre, with diesel falling by 2 cents a litre following the decline in world crude oil prices
Petrol in the main centres will now be 106.9 cents per litre for Ultra 91 and 111.9 cents per litre for Ultra High 96. The cost of diesel will fall to 78.9.cents per litre
Shell New Zealand’s retail Manager Steve Foster said that it was pleasing to be able to bring prices down for Shell customers and this decrease was further proof of Shell’s commitment to deliver consumers better prices.
“We look at prices on a daily basis, and the overnight slide in crude oil prices has given us the ability to pass lower prices to consumers today,” Mr Foster said.
“This is the 17th pricing initiative Shell has led since December last year in our drive to grow business and deliver better prices to our customers,” he said.
