AUCKLAND, 12 September 2001 – Smart-vending company Vending Technologies Limited (NZSE: VTL) today announced that it is postponing its pending rights issue until the market impact of today’s terrorist attacks in the US can be quantified.

The record date for the one for ten renounceable rights was scheduled for Friday 14 September 2001, with rights trading due to commence the following Monday 17 September 2001.

The company will make a further announcement on revised rights issue timing once the US situation has clarified.
