Import News: New Food Labelling Requirements
Import News from the Importers Institute
14 August 2001 - New Food Labelling Requirements
A new Food Code will require more information on labels, from December 2002. From 7 December 2001, there will also be new labelling requirements for genetically modified foods.

· Set the scene for the Joint Food Code
· Describe how the standards work and their key features
· Present guidelines and fact sheets
· Discuss examples, including inter-relationships between standards
· Answer questions
The workshops will run from 9.00 am to 12.30 pm on:
