Ford Advanced Driver's School Celebrate New Mondeo's With New Corporate Look
New Zealand's premier driving education school, the Ford Advanced Driver's School, celebrated the arrival of their two
new Mondeo's with a new release of their own – a completely revamped corporate image.
"The new Mondeo is a substantial development on the old model, and I see our new corporate appearance is in a similar
light," said the Managing Director of the Ford Advanced Driver's School, Mark Cooper.
"Our new image reflects the progressive nature of the school and the professionalism associated with it."
Ford has been the main supporter of the Advanced Driver's School since its formation in 1987, and has been the key
supplier of vehicles that have helped thousands of people learn and improve on safe driving techniques and habits.
"We have trained upwards of 20,000 people over the past 15 years, and currently train more than two thousand five
hundred drivers annually. We offer driver education at fourteen locations nationwide, ranging from Whangarei to
Invercargill and including amongst others Wairoa, Palmerston North, Wellington, Nelson and Timaru," said Mr. Cooper.
The Ford Advanced Driver's School not only trains individual drivers and corporate groups, but has also been involved
with teaching the finer points of driving to Ministers of the Crown, and also tutoring the All Blacks.
"It doesn't matter who you are or how many or few kilometers you drive each day – it is essential that people have good
driving skills," said Mr. Cooper.
"People only have one chance when they are put in a situation where they are forced to react. If they learn what to do
and how to do it, then they give themselves an increased chance of accident avoidance."
"It's all about being prepared, alert, and knowing what to do when required."
The instructors at the school have received countless letters from people who have participated in driving instruction
who have benefited directly from the experience.
"People write telling me about situations they have been involved in and have been able to recover from, situations that
would have had very different outcomes had they not done a course," said Mr. Cooper.
"It's these sorts of letters that make my job worthwhile, simply knowing that one of the instructors or myself have made
a difference to someone's life in such a way."
The Ford Advanced Driver's School now sports the new livery on their two new Mondeo's, on their uniform and stationary.
The new image follows a corporate video that was produced for the school last year, which has been used extensively as a
way to raise awareness about it and what it is able to offer.
