- Futura Classic - New Level Of
Sophistication Achieved Through Value Packed Additions
Ford New Zealand has achieved new levels of
sophistication, prestige and style with the release of the
new AUII Ford Falcon Classic.
The Falcon Classic, which is based on the popular Futura, is an elegant more highly specified vehicle that offers a number of features usually reserved for more expensive models.
These features, including 16" prestige alloy wheels, side skirts, leather wrapped steering wheel, four door power windows and CD stereo unit, come as standard on the 'Classic' for an additional $350 above the price of the Futura.
"There is demand for a more elegant and refined Falcon, so we have combined desirable elements from the Falcon range and have made them available as the Classic," said Falcon Brand Manager Ian Swann.
"The Classic is an invigorated model, with original touches that contribute to desirability. For such a small addition in price, there has been a large increase in the array of standard features that add considerable style and sophistication to the vehicle."
The vehicle also has body coloured mirrors, a chrome exhaust tip, velour style trim and door inserts, floor mats and 'Classic' nomenclature.
Standard features also include 4.0L Intech engine, Anti-Lock ABS brakes, cruise control, driver and passenger airbags, air conditioning, steering wheel mounted audio controls, 60/40 rear seat split, engine immobiliser, 15,000km service intervals, 2,300kg towing capacity and three year 24 hour roadside assistance.
Factory fitted options available for the Ford Falcon Classic include dedicated LPG and sports suspension.
The recommended retail for the new AUII Ford Falcon Classic is $44,950.
