Chris Moller has been appointed Managing Director of NZMP, Global Dairy Company Chief Executive Officer Craig Norgate
has announced to staff. Mr Moller will also be Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Global Dairy Company.
“Chris’s capabilities are well known and we are fortunate to have someone with his leadership strength, commercial
skills and experience in the industry to fill this critical role,” Mr Norgate told staff in a memo this morning.
Mr Norgate said that, under Mr Moller’s leadership, Anchor Products, Kiwi Dairy Products, Food Solutions Group, New
Zealand Dairy Ingredients, Transport & Milk Quality and relevant support functions would be merged with the current NZMP organisation.
“This move will create a very significant business in its own right and create the platform for NZMP to drive
performance improvements and extract maximum value from the farm-to-customer value chain,” Mr Norgate said.
Mr Moller is the first appointment of five senior executives who will report directly to Mr Norgate. The other four
positions will be Managing Director of New Zealand Milk, the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Corporate Strategy
and the Director of Human Resources. The other four appointments are likely to be made this month and next.

Managing Director, NZMP
Chris Moller has more than 14 years’ experience as a senior executive in the New Zealand dairy industry. He joined the
New Zealand Dairy Board in 1987 as Corporate Investments Manager before becoming General Manager of the Cheese Division
in 1989. From 1994 to 1996, he was General Manager, Finance and Corporate Development, before becoming Group General
Manager, International, for two years, and Group General Manager, Ingredients, for one year.
In September 2000, he was appointed Managing Director, NZMP, a company with an annual turnover of over NZ$7 billion. In
July 2001, he was appointed Managing Director, NZMP, and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Global Dairy Company.
Prior to joining the dairy industry, Mr Moller was General Manager, Corporate Banking, for Broadbank Corporation Ltd;
Manager of Fletcher Challenge’s London office; Corporate Finance Executive for Baring Brothers and Company; and Finance
Executive and Accounting Officer for Challenge Corporation.
Mr Moller completed a Bachelor of Commerce & Administration at Victoria University of Wellington in 1975. He was raised in the Hawke’s Bay and educated in
Christchurch.
He and his family live in Wellington.
