Ford Fairmont Ghia - Specification Increase, Price Decrease
Ford New Zealand has improved the specification level of the AUII Ford Fairmont Ghia, and in doing so has made the refined prestige automobile into a sports enhanced luxury vehicle.
"We thought long and hard about what we wanted to achieve with this vehicle, and the decision that we kept coming back to time and time again was to increase the level of specification on offer," said Falcon Brand Manager Ian Swann.
The Ford Fairmont Ghia is now adorned with an additional $7600 of specification, which includes body kit, sports suspension, 17" alloy wheels and leather interior.
"We then wanted to make the car too tempting to ignore – and the best way to do this was to make it even more price attractive. So we lowered the price."
"What we have now is a vehicle that we believe is one of the most highly specified and desirable vehicles available in the Falcon range. It has the refinement of a top of the line luxury vehicle, but now bristles with extra specification and sports orientated enhancements."
"The already outstanding independent rear suspension (IRS) has been enhanced by the addition of sports suspension, which adds to the overall performance and responsiveness of the vehicle."
"The Fairmont Ghia has a wide ranging appeal. It is refined and elegant, yet aggressive and sporty. It has something to offer everyone."
The Fairmont Ghia will
be available as a 4.0L or 5.0L sedan, and will be available
from August. The 4.0L has a recommended retail price of
$59,990 and the 5.0L V8 has a recommended retail price of
$64,990.
