There was heavy trading on the New Zealand Futures & Options Exchange today involving 5787 futures and 90 options contracts traded with a face value of NZ$2.93 billion.
The June-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 9 points at 9445 (5.55%) and the Sept-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 8 points at 9462 (5.38%). The Dec-01 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 7 points at 9455 (5.45%) and the Mar-02 90 Day Bank Bill Contract settled up 7 points at 9437 (5.63%).
The June-01 Three Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled up 5 points at 9456 (5.44%) and the June-01 Ten Year Government Stock Futures Contract settled up 3 points at 9416 (5.84%).
The March-01 NZSE-10 Share Index Futures Contract settled down 15 points at 958.
The March-01 Electricity Futures Contract closed at $41.00 M/wh.
