E3 provides best value at $10.00
A sound stable approach to providing excellent Internet access at a reasonable cost has proved successful for E3.
Established six months ago E3 - pronounced e cubed - has steadily increased its residential customers through simply providing access at a flat rate of $10.00 a month.
Managed by Virtual ISP Ltd, E3 brings together all the top range services offered by the major players such as Xtra and Clear, without all the strings attached of different services.
While i4free’s 140,000 customers languish between the new choice of restricted services or a change to the Clear system for $14.95, E3 customers continue to benefit from a stable business model. E3 services include bandwidth, port ratio 5:1, guaranteed connection and web space, e mail and news groups
"When we launched E3 we predicted that the free net providers would gain a large share of the residential market, as everyone likes to try something for free, however, we also correctly predicted that the free net model was unsustainable and that it wouldn’t last in the New Zealand market, - just as it has collapsed in Europe and Australia," says Michael Spencer, Managing Director of Virtual ISP.
"With the current changes in the marketplace customers are looking for stability and consistency in their ISP provider.
"E3 has been positioned at the true market value of $10.00 a month and we will continue to grow. "
E3’s newly appointed national sales manager, Nicole Pratt ,brings extensive financial and sales/marketing experience to the position, gained from Greenwich Natwest Merchant Bank in London and the highly successful Australasian franchising operation, Bakers Delight.
"Nicole joins our team of professionals in the Internet market at a time when we are able to offer new products. Her knowledge of the business needs of both the corporate and residential sectors will enable Virtual ISP Ltd to maximise the market's growth potential, says Mr Spencer.
The e3 service is accessible on-line through www.e3.net.nz and has consistently provided excellent access without time restrictions.
E3 supplies each new customer with a dial up POP account, accessible through any email programme such as Microsoft Outlook Express, Eudora, Netscape and Mailstart and News groups such as nzoom.
Virtual ISP Ltd is the parent company for E3, Ezysurf and E-surf Wireless.
