Telstra Saturn and JADE today announced a wide-ranging alliance that will see the two companies cooperating to offer e-commerce products and services aimed at large through small businesses.

Signed by Telstra Saturn CEO Jack Matthews and JADE CEO Sir Gil Simpson, the agreement will involve the companies joining forces across a number of areas, ranging from renting software to organisations over the Internet through to delivering complex e-commerce solutions for large enterprises.

Sir Gil said the agreement would help deliver more quickly on the promise of e-commerce for New Zealand businesses, "This deal matches what will be the best broadband network in the country with the smartest e-commerce software. Combining this with the considerable intellectual property of Telstra Saturn and JADE means we have a compelling offer for businesses."
