Sales Technologies Appoints Senior Account Manager

AUCKLAND, October 3, 2000 – Sales Technologies Limited, Australasia’s largest customer relationship management systems specialist, announced today it has appointed Stephen Basher as Senior Account Manager.
Based in Wellington, Mr Basher will assume responsibility for managing existing accounts within the Southern region and building long-term client relationships within those accounts.
Mr Basher will also be responsible for new business growth within this region. In this role his focus will be on selling Sales Technologies’ integrated enterprise wide solutions based around the e-business products Vantive, Actuate and Selectica. Tailoring these applications to major New Zealand organisations whose requirements include customer service functions, sales and marketing automation, inbound and outbound telemarketing and enterprise reporting.
Vantive is a customer relationship management software application that enables organisations to manage their customer relations through any channel. Actuate, the enterprise-wide reporting system is designed for client/server and web environments. Selectica is a sophisticated Internet selling system.
Mr Basher said he was looking forward to using his extensive experience to build long-term client relationships with existing clients and establishing new business.

Prior to joining Sales Technologies, Mr Basher held senior sales and account management roles with a number of IT-based organisations, most recently in a sales and customer services role with IBM NZ. Mr Basher’s previous experience includes roles for IT companies Synet Communications, ComputerTime Limited and Paxus.
