WESTPACTRUST LOWERS FLOATING HOME LOAN RATES

WestpacTrust is lowering its floating home loan rate by 0.3% per annum to 8.5% per annum. The new rate takes effect from 1 September 2000 for new loans.

WestpacTrust Regional General Manager New Zealand Retail John Boraston said: “We recently lowered our fixed and capped interest rates. Now we are able to pass on the benefits of a stable interest rate environment to our customers by also lowering floating rates by 0.3%.”
