Suppliers To AMEX Cup Village Must Be Accredited
AMEX Cup Village
Suppliers to AMEX Cup Village must be accredited.
To ensure public safety and to assist with security within the American Express New Zealand Cup Village, McKay Yacht Services and The General Store @ 37 South have been nominated by the AMEX Cup Village as the official agents for the provisioning of services to the marina berth holders.
The AMEX Cup Village marina is a restricted area with only limited vehicle access and no parking. All suppliers of marine related services need to be accredited so as to gain access to the marina pontoons.
Accreditation will only be issued to a person or company who has to perform a service that cannot be performed off the vessel. Vehicle access passes will only be issued to accredited suppliers / contractors who have specific reason to have their specialist vehicle on hand while working on a vessel.
Both McKay Yacht Service and The General Store @ 37 South are offering supplier parking and transport to the Viaduct Harbour in an effort to assist contractors with car parking problems. In addition both companies will deliver consignments to yachts berthed in the Viaduct Harbour. These initiatives are designed to overcome logistical constraints for suppliers /contractors and minimise vehicular activity onto the Village areas as per the AMEX Cup Village objectives.
