Auckland City Council - City Scene - News In Brief
SHORE RD INTERSECTION
An end is in sight to traffic hold-ups at the Upland/Orakei/Shore Road intersection, where widening and upgrading work
has been carried out over the past five months.
Completion of the project is expected towards the end of November, as scheduled.
The $600,000 project involved extensive work to move underground services.
Once this is finished this month, all that remains is the completion of Orakei Road widening and construction of the
roundabout.
CITY SCENE COPIES
Copies of the current issue of 'City Scene', along with brochures and publications produced by the Council are available
at Auckland City libraries and Service Centres. New display units featuring the front page of City Scene and copies of
the paper make it easier for the public to access additional copies of the publication. 'City Scene' will still continue
to be delivered to all household letterboxes.
