The most modern entertainment complex in the world has opened for business today in the heart of Auckland City.
The Force Entertainment Centre, New Zealand’s largest multiplex, hosts digital sound, stadium seating and the largest range of movies in the country. It also has a games and leisure centre which has the latest in digital games.
Entertainment seekers can also dine in style at one of its eight different restaurants which cater for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
However, the big draw-card is the complex’s IMAX giant screen - which is ten times larger than conventional movie screens.
Outside, the Force Entertainment Centre still looks unfinished. But once inside you are faced with a futuristic scene reminiscent of that old Alan Parson’s Project album cover, I Robot.
Queen St will never seem the same again.
