Whenua Iti Outdoors And Pitt & Moore Lawyers Announce Three-Year Sponsorship To Support Youth Development

Whenua Iti Outdoors is proud to announce a new three-year partnership with Pitt & Moore Lawyers, based in Nelson, who have committed $45,000 in sponsorship to support local youth development initiatives.

This generous sponsorship will directly contribute to Whenua Iti Outdoors’ mission to deliver transformative, outdoor-based learning experiences that support the self-development and wellbeing of rangatahi (young people) across Te Tauihu.

“Pitt & Moore is delighted to commit to this significant sponsorship to better enable Whenua Iti to undertake their amazing work with our young people in Te Tauihu,” said Geoff Caradus, Partner at Pitt & Moore.

“We recognise the difference that they are making in so many people’s lives at such a crucial point in their development. We’re proud to be associated with an organisation that helps our youth to realise their full potential."

Whenua Iti Outdoors CEO, Mark Bruce-Miller, welcomed the announcement as a significant boost for the region.

“We’re incredibly grateful that Pitt & Moore recognise the importance of supporting youth development programmes for local rangatahi,"

“The three-year sponsorship agreement allows us to actively plan for the future and ensure that our programmes are available for as many young people as possible.

“The latest mental health statistics for our young people are increasingly worrying, and we know that outdoor experiences through our programmes help develop critical skills like resilience, communication and self-confidence."

“This means that the kinds of programmes we offer are as important now as they have ever been to support youth heading into the workforce,” said Bruce-Miller.

This partnership reflects a shared commitment to empowering the next generation and building stronger, more resilient communities across the region.
